The Marguerites Make up School is a professional, contemporary and versatile makeup artist school in Lucerne, Switzerland. At Marguerites Make up School, we offer students thorough training in the intricacies of professional makeup art for film, television, fashion, theater and retail.
Marguerite's Make-up School was founded in 2014 by Marguerite Gebhardt and is the only make-up school of its kind in Lucerne and in all of Central Switzerland. The students work with us on the cutting edge and always get to know the latest trends. The world of the big make-up fairs, such as the IMATS in London, is open to students as part of our training. Another special feature of our school is that you can attend seminars from international guest trainers here. Professional make-up artists and make-up artists in Switzerland enjoy a unique training concept with us.

Marguerite Gebhardt is an internationally trained make-up artist from Johannesburg, South Africa with 30 years of professional experience. She lived for many years in Los Angeles, USA, where she worked with models, actors and celebrities such as Johnny Depp, David Hasselhoff, Dita von Teese, Tim Allen, Ernie Hudson, Shannon Tweed, Stella Stevens, Elaine Brown and other stars. Marguerite Gebhardt worked for film and television, photographers, fashion, catwalks, advertising, music videos, etc. With her broad professional experience, she covers the entire spectrum of this exciting, pulsating environment: fashion, bridal masks, special effects, age and epoch style and much more. With more than 300 makeup workshops, Marguerite has the specialist knowledge and educational know-how to teach her students the most challenging techniques and creatively select the right products.
Her lively and practice-oriented training method inspires her students to deal creatively with the material. Marguerite's strengths are her extensive experience in all areas as a Pro Make Up Artist. Their keen sense for colors and shapes, their sensitivity for people and their ability to change as well as their professionalism in the implementation of technical requirements.
Marguerite is a member of the Association of Make-Up Artists Switzerland (VVDS) and founder of the SM'UP, Swiss Creative Makeup Contest.
